Prim Dolls N' Things
All of my dolls are made by me, without
patterns, so they are truly One Of A Kind. I do not use glue in my
dollmaking, unless stated. Some of my dolls are named after ancestors of
mine, which I felt was fitting. Some dating back to the 1700's. Others are
named after the living relatives, who make my daily life a wonderful one to
live.
~*Notice~*~ I've decided to sell my
already made dolls, Ornies, Stitcheries, Pillows & Quilts on eBay from
now on. It makes it a lot easier during the busy Holiday season, which is
already upon us!
Click here to visit my eBay store
& view dolls & more currently for sale.
You are welcome to browse previously sold items. If
you see something you like, feel free to email me with a request. Just
remember, no two dolls will be exactly alike. I do special orders. Let
me know your ideas!
I'll email you with a time frame for making the
item(s) chosen. (along with prices, if not stated).

Pink Ballerina Princess
~Hannah Jo~
This is a semi-copy of a doll I made my
daughter, Hannah Jo, for her birthday.
Hannah Jo is 18 inches tall & has a
RAG STUFFED torso for that
old fashioned, heavy feel. She is made of muslin, that has been tea &
vanilla stained. Her face is hand-stitched, and her cheeks painted & lightly
sanded (for that "well-loved" feel.) Hannah's pink Mary-Jane
shoes have also been painted in a lovely PINK, complete with a daisy as the
"buckles". They also have sparkling glitter painted on (with
glue).
The top of her dress is a lovely PINK with tiny white hearts. The
skirt of her dress is made with a lovely sheer, shimmery fabric with a baby
pink "underskirt". I didn't dye her dress, as I thought
she'd make a lovely doll for a younger girl, who'll soon make her own "age
spots" on Annie!
Her hair has been hand-stitched & then
braided. Her braids are tied with a cream colored ribbon. (I secured her
ribbons with thread, just in case her new home is one in which she'll be
loved & played with.)
Hannah Jo would be a PERFECT addition
to any little girl's room.

~Sister Bee Pillow~
Right Next Door or Worlds Apart, a
Sister is Always Close at Heart.

Click the picture to see it in greater detail.
I had a request for a pillow for a
sister who loves Bees & this is what I came up with. I really like it! Bordered with Burgundy, Greens, and
Tans. One of my favorite pillows I've made thus far! If you'd like this pillow with this, or
another saying, I can do that for you. (Can also change quilted border
materials.)

Happy Anniversary
Dolls
Grandpa Don &
Grandma Bobbie
This cute couple was special made for an anniversary
present & are named after the recipients..
Both of their faces were hand-stitched. They've been
painted & sanded & through the Prim process! They wear coordinating.
outfits.
Grandma's wearing an eyelette top, with lace
sleeved. Her dress is 2-teired with homespun & eyelette. She also has a
removable, matching, hat. (Of course, Grandma is wearing bloomers!) I
didn't tea stain her dress, because I thought it looked pretty without
it.
Grandpa is wearing denim overalls, with a homespun
"Pendleton". Complete with little buttons. (You can't see them in the
picture, but they are there.) They are 13 inches tall. |

Flower
Annie
All the materials used to make her clothing are 100% cotton & have been
tea stained for that old fashioned look. The doll, herself, has also
been tea-stained with tea. Her her face is completely hand
embroidered. I love her little heart mouth!
She has
paper & cloth Roses in her long, braided hair. Her braids are tied with
strips of muslin. I painted her "stockings" on.
Her
apron is hand-embroidered. She is 27 inches tall.

~ Bobbie Jo ~
Angel Annie
I made this one for my grandma, who loves angels.
She has muslin wings, lots of braids with tied (and
tea-stained) muslin, and paper roses. She's 19 inches tall. Her dress
is made from the prettiest, vintagey green fabric with roses. She is
wearing a button necklace. Her legs are painted with stripey stockings,
and she's wearing black Mary Janes. She also has a necklace made of
vintage buttons.
Flip up her dress, and you can see her cute little
bloomers! I love making these. Tied with a pink string, and lined with
lace, these puffy little undies just make the doll.
